Cannonau is the king red grape of Sardinia yet its origin on the island is very controversial. Part of the Grenache grape family, Cannonau is a son of Sardinia: proud, strong and determined, yet gentle and elegant at the same time.
Plummy fruit and herbs on the nose with hints of leather, forest floor and spice. Medium-to full-bodied with lovely, fine and dusty tannins that are drenched in mild spice and a twinge of orange peel. Silky, balanced and delicious.
