Domaine Tempier's prominent cuvée, blends the discrete strength of Bandol with the elegance and finesse which characterize Tempier.
Aromas of dark fruit and spice abound and the palate boasts ample fruit and dusty tannins. With 5 or more years in the bottle the wine will develop layers of complex aromas and flavors of leather, earth and red fruits.
(75%) with Grenache and Cinsault and a smaller proportion of Carignan and Syrah.
Average age of the vines: 35 – 40 years
