"Chinon Blanc makes up less than 5% of the production in this region, which is most famous for its red wines. Baudry delivers an exceptional version, made with 100% Chenin Blanc planted over clay and limestone soils.
Fermented in 500-liter barrels until dry, this is a rich Chenin on a sinewy frame. Much like a dry Vouvray or Saumur Blanc, this has incredible intensity. It is beautiful to drink now but will age for several years as well."
