Kuentz-Bas Riesling had only just been bottled when I tasted it last November. Fresh lemon, apricot, peppermint, and lily-of-the-valley perfume find their rich yet still reasonably refreshing counterpart on a palate subtly oily in texture, with apricot kernel and citrus rind conveying bittersweet cling.
