I'd like to think that this is the kind of wine that if you have to ask about you won't like it and shouldn't buy it, it is really different. Frank Cornelissen is an extraordinary person and makes wines with a ….flair for the let's just let it happen. This particular Rosato is unusual for Rose because it is made with white grapes and red grapes co-fermented together for 45 days on the skins. That means some real tannin mixed in with the Cidery, somewhat cloudy, tangy unusualness. If you are prepared for the "is that wine?" experience go ahead and buy this it is really unique and quite tasty, but definitely a hearty food wine to be treated more like a red than a Rose.
