Top of the range ... superb balance ... our Clos Rousseau comes from 3 parcels whose vines are all over thirty years of age: Les Fourneaux (planted in 1914), Le Grand Clos Rousseau (1980), and Le Petit Clos Rousseau (1955).
Very fine and very elegant, red fruit character. Les Fourneaux is where the oldest vines grow. These deep soils bring an exceptional wealth of mature, silky tannins and very ripe, black fruit aromas. The three cuvées are vinified separately. A perfect balance between structure, elegance and aromatic complexity. This is a fruity, concentrated and ethereal wine.
